I Was Completely Delighted With The Way My Garden Looked When I Put In My New Solar Lantern Lights

By Victor N. Hanlin

I wanted to spruce up my landscaping, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money and buy something that would add to my power bill, so I bought some solar lantern lights. I have a nice house with quite a large yard and a swimming pool, and during the summer months I host a lot of pool parties and barbecues, and just spend most of my time outside. For many years, I had clear Christmas lights hung around the yard to give some ambient lighting for the evenings, but I was wanting something a little better.

Conserving energy has always been important to me, which is why I was so glad to find solar garden lights. I went to many different stores trying to find the best ones, but I didn't find what I was looking for, so I went online to see what I could find there. I felt very fortunate because I instantly found a website that sold a great variety of solar lamps of all different styles and sizes. They had so many different styles that I was a bit overwhelmed and they all looked so wonderful that I didn't know how I would choose.

I found some solar string lights that I could use to replace my old Christmas lights, but I additionally found some amazing solar path lighting that would look really striking and make it much safer for everybody to walk along the garden paths at night. I was pretty sure about buying the solar path lights, but then I saw some solar deck lights that were also on the website that I found very enticing.

I had been hoping for many years that I could expand my little porch that was barely big enough for a grill and maybe two people, to a big deck, maybe even with a hot tub and nice table and chair set. In my mind, picturing this new deck, a deck light here and there would really make the deck look incredible and would add a lot of visual interest to the entire yard.

As I searched around at all of the options in solar lighting, I was only disappointed that I couldn't get all of them, but if I had done so, I would have had a solar lighthouse, shining in the darkness for all the world to see, a fact that would not have made my neighbors happy. I did come to my senses and just bought the solar lights that I needed, but I was completely overjoyed with the way my yard looked with all the new lights and could not wait to host a great party for all my friends to show off my new lights.
